About Us

Progressive Health of Batesville (formerly known as Panola Med) is a rural emergency hospital located in Batesville, Mississippi.

The hospital opened in 2001 and has grown into a team of nearly 400 associates trained to provide the highest level of patient care. Our primary medical facility, which is centrally located off of Interstate 55, offers quality health care services in emergency care, surgery, radiology, cardiopulmonary services, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, pharmacy and primary care. Progressive Health of Batesville also offers pediatrics, sleep, adult medicine, women's health clinics and more. 

 

Progressive Health of Batesville is a registered d/b/a of Progressive Medical Management of Batesville, LLC. Progressive Medical Management of Batesville, LLC is a part of the Progressive Health Group family brand.

• In September 2019, Progressive Medical Management of Batesville LLC ("PMMB") purchased the hospital and all its assets from bankruptcy.

• On November 1, 2023, Panola Medical Center was certified as a Rural Emergency Hospital (REH).

• In March 2024, PHG began a massive rebranding of all of its hospitals. Panola Medical Center is now doing business as Progressive Health of Batesville. The hospital consistently improves services to meet the needs of the community and surrounding areas.
